Ryan
Carver is a drummer percussionist accustomed to playing many styles of
music. He has been studying and performing for the past 16 years, and
continues to learn from some of the worlds top drummers. Ryan has studied
with Dom Famularo and Michael Molinari, and has taken lessons with Neil
Garthly, Jason Rullo, Tobias Ralph, Zoro, Bryan Brosen, and Joe Bergamini.
He not only share his talent through teaching , but also through collaborations
with other artists. Ryan can be seen performing with his own band Jazz
Pollution, and
is the musical director and drummer for New York City based
multimedia performance group LiveSpace. Ryan is a monthly columnist for
The Black Page Magazine and author of “My Practice Journal” series.
He is also a member of the Percussive Arts Society and a member of
the Vic Firth Education Team. At the age of 25 Ryan has taught thousands
of lessons, studied from some of the worlds top drummers, and continues
to raise the bar for the next generation of drummers.
